Jessica, while born in Manhattan, KS, considers herself to have grown up on a farm just south of Liberal, KS. She also spent time in the Salina/Assaria area, graduating from Southeast of Saline. Jessica attended Washburn University, double majoring in Finance and Economics, and there met her husband.

Jessica wants to see a strong downtown, better mental health services, and a collaboration between civic and non-profit groups.
"Salina is home. Salina is where my husband and I chose to raise our family. My passion stems from making sure that Salina’s tomorrow is bright not only for my child but for all its residents. Steps we make today can make a big impact for tomorrow, if we take them. SAUW is taking these steps and I want to be a member of an organization that is taking action."
Amy has lived in Salina since May 2013 and has been employed with Advantage Trust Company since May of 2012, where she currently holds the title of Vice President & Real Estate Officer. She graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Personal Financial Planning.
Amy is eager to do her part in the SAUW organization to ensure Salina and the surrounding communities flourish and continually strive to be better. She believes that in order to keep a community strong and thriving, it takes active participation and engagement of community members.
In the oncoming years, she would like to see SAUW continue to strengthen our community by impacting and supporting efforts that make those in the community confident in their financial stability, provide resources so that all have the opportunity to succeed in their educational endeavors, and support programs that engage the community in adapting a healthy lifestyle.
