Why WE COUNT  

An accurate 2010 population count is critical.  This project requires a pre-planning strategy that rallies the citizens of Salina around the 2010 Census initiative.  This strategy will educate the Salina community regarding direct and indirect Census count benefits, provide both general and strategic outreach efforts to enhance overall Census participation, and establish a framework of best practices to be applied to future Census population counts and estimates.  In short, everyone in Salina is of value.  Everyone is important and worth counting.  Yes, I COUNT, YOU COUNT, WE COUNT.
