March 12 spotlight: The Volunteer Connection
Competition is heating up for Match Madness hosted by the Greater Salina Community Foundation. Help us reach our goal this year of raising money for our endowed fund. Whether it‘s $5 or $500, come support your team - your SAUW - at Mokas Downtown between 7am and 6pm on Tuesday, March 12th. Match Madness is less than a week away and we need your help!
In honor of the twenty-fifth annual recognition banquet, we are pleased to announce this year’s nominated Volunteer of the Year, Nancy Klostermeyer. She is from Harvard, Nebraska but has called Salina, Kansas her home for quite a while now. Nancy gives back to her community in countless ways. She has been a health educator with the Salina-Saline county health department. From 1972-1975 she served as planning coordinator/project director for the continuing education for health project at Marymount College. In 1976, Nancy was named the Director of the Saline County RSVP at KWU.
The SAUW hosted 2012 Campaign Wrap up Event has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 28, 5:30 p.m. at Philips Lighting
