Free summer meals are provided for every child ages 1-18 during the 8-week summer meal program sponsored by Heartland Programs and Salina Public Schools. No fee or registration is required. Free lunches will be served Monday-Friday (closed July 4) at 9 open location:
Heusner Elementary, 11:30-12pm, 1300 Norton (Northwest doors by Art Room)
Schilling Elementary, 11:30-12pm, 3121 Centerbury (Side door by Gym)
Oakdale Elementary, 11:30-12pm, 811 E. Iron (West doors off of Penn St.)
Sunset Elementary, 11:30-12pm, 1510 W. Republic (North doors off of playground)
Cottonwood Elementary, 12-12:30pm, 215 S. Phillips (Baker Street Entrance)
Kennedy Early Learning Center, 11:30-12pm, 700 Jupiter (North double doors off Venus St.)
Church of the Cross, 11:30-12pm, 1600 Rush (Southeast door)
The Salvation Army, 11:30-12pm, 1137 N. Santa Fe (Front door)
South High School, 12-12:30pm, 730 E. Magnolia (West doors marked student entrance)
Breakfast will be served at Cottonwood only, from 7:45-8:15am, though July 3. The cost for adults is $3.50 for lunch and $1.75 for breakfast.
