Chris grew up in Salina and attended Salina South. He holds an Associates, Bachelors, and Masters in Business Administration, and also has a Doctorate in Business Administration specializing in Social Impact Management. His doctoral study was on the topic of creating revenue diversification among non profits. Currently, he is employed at the Land Institute.
His passion for Salina includes finding ways to circulate local wealth to benefit the entire community - directing his higher education pursuit so that he could be a better asset to our community. When asked what progress he wants to see SAUW make, he states, "I would like SAUW to experience growth in revenue - increasing opportunities for Salina organizations, SAUW exposure, and allowing SAUW to flourish." He spends his free time with his wife, Katie, and his kids, Jocelyn and Greyson.
