Support our Neighbors in times of crisis!
When crisis strikes, families and individuals in our community often find themselves facing unexpected hardships—whether from natural disasters, house fires, loss of income, or other emergencies. The Salina Area United Way is committed to ensuring that no one in our 10-county area has to face those challenges alone.
Through our Community Resiliency pillar, we are launching the Emergency Relief Fund. This fund provides rapid, flexible assistance to help meet urgent needs when they arise. Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting individuals and families during times of crisis, helping them stabilize, recover, and move forward with dignity.
By contributing, you are strengthening our community’s ability to respond when it matters most. Together, we can create a safety net of hope and support for our neighbors when they need it most.
Your gift today is an investment in resilience, compassion, and community.
Emergency Relief Fund Activated to Support Displaced Families
Salina Area United Way has activated its Emergency Relief Fund to assist families displaced by the recent fire at The Ridge Apartments. While all residents were able to safely exit the building, several units are now uninhabitable, leaving families in need of immediate support.
Salina Area United Way is committed to working with local partners to help affected households secure essentials such as temporary housing assistance, basic needs, and short‑term recovery support.
You can help today.
Every contribution directly supports families working to rebuild stability.
Thank you for helping our community. #UnitedIsTheWay to Impact!
