Laurel grew up in Salina and was a 2011 graduate of Central High School. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in English and from the University of Kansas School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor in 2018. Laurel is now an associate attorney for the law firm Kennedy Berkley Yarnevich & Williamson, Chartered, where she primarily focuses on domestic law and civil litigation.
Laurel has enjoyed seeing Salina grow and strengthen over the years and wants to be able to help contribute to this. She believes that the Salina Area United Way is an integral organization to the community and that by growing and strengthening SAUW, we will be able to grow and strengthen individuals, businesses, and the community as a whole.
